Simon opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Today, Simon Pearce hand-thrown pottery is made in Quechee, Vermont.

The unique imprint at the bottom of each piece is a remnant of the Simon Pearce glassmaking process: an impression of where the iron once held the piece during its creation.

This rare vintage Simon Pearce Belmont black or brown vase or large urn is 20" high and 13" in diameter at the widest point. The opening is 6.75" in diameter. There are no chips.
