- There are no chips or cracks or crazing on the surface. The back of the plate has one very old … moreThere are no chips or cracks or crazing on the surface. The back of the plate has one very old chip on the ridge of the inner circle. There are also the three prong marks from firing. I took pictures of the edge of the plate which has white marks which are smooth and just places where the blue color didn't take. A bit of slap dash watery brush stroks extend to the edg of the plate. There are two little dimples on the surface. Frankly, it looks as though someone enjoyed making this plate and didn't care if it wan't perfect. Ah, the 1920's and its frivolous abandonment. less
