Purchased in early 1970's from original owner. Modern and elegant this chandelier has unique triangular pencil drops topped with faceted baguette crystals. The candle bobeche are also crystal. Classical shape with very clean lines gives this unique design applicable in a modern or traditional space. Gateano Sciolari was a famous mid-century lighting designer who designs are still very much in demand or reproduced. Most are chrome and acrylic.
This was part of a few higher end designs he produced in Italy probably with Stilnovo. Original label intact inside canopy. See less
