This is a superb set of 10 Balloon back antique white paint decorated Louis XVI style dining chairs attributed to Maison Jansen. They are not signed but have all the tell-tale signs of Jansen in terms of carving and design quality. The painted finish is a gorgeous ivory or off-white and in good condition as is the upholstery which while used, still remains clean enough for everyday use. They are done in that classic "hot-air balloon" style that everyone knows and loves but this is a RARE set of 10 chairs.
