A fine copy of "Domicilium Decoratus", published by Regan Books, New York, 2006. This is #255 of a worldwide edition limited to 3000 copies, hand signed by the author.
The book is a monograph of the 958 Trousdale Estates home, designed at the height of her maximalist Hollywood Regency period. The lavish photographs show each room in vivid detail as well as the occasional tongue in cheek photo of her in ball gowns pruning the trees or watering the lawn. The house was subsequently sold, the furnishings stripped and new owner Ellen Degeneres made it over in California Modern.
Excellent condition with only minor wear to slipcover.
