Regency rosewood box inlaid with rosewood, satinwood and ebonized stringing, the hinged top centered with a buck print of a mother sitting in a Klismos style chair attending her child, the oval gilded border with pen and ink drawing of egg and dart patterns, surrounded by satinwood with pen and ink cross hatching, raised on brass ball feet. The hinged top opens to reveal a beige paper interior. It retains its original key.
