About the artist: Jacques Pouchain (1925-2015) left Paris and abandoned his training as an architect in the 1950s for the south of France in order to devote himself to art and his pottery workshop in Dieulefit. He produced very personal works and more commercial pieces, thus revealing a modern approach to pottery. Pouchain's ceramics have an international audience and have been sold at major European auction houses. This piece has an attribution mark,
