This is a unique French Empire style settee. Made in France during the 1920s it wears an old New York upholstery tag but is French. The piece features unique dog faces cast on the terminals of the arms and dragons on the very top of the back as well as bronze floral and anthemia themes ever present on French Empire furniture. The settee is in good condition but will need reupholstery as the older reupholstery is stained and suitably worn. The frame is in good condition.
Measures 46.5 wide x 26 deep x 29.25 tall and seat height is 18 inches.
