The … Read more This wonderfully unique pair of mid-century modern glass vases double as bookends for a fantastic accent in any room. The bookend vases were designed by Swedish American master glass-blower Carl Erikson for Erikson Glass Works. The thick smoke tinged glass vases are a bulbous water drop shape with a controlled bubble or bullicante feature throughout. With their flat bottoms they work together or separately as free standing bookend vases for shelves or table top.

Carl Erickson and his brother Stephen, Swedish immigrants from the famous glass center of Reijmre, Sweden, descended from master glass blowers. After stints at Pairpoint Manufacturing Company, Libbey Glass and The Blenko Glass Company, Carl Erikson started Erikson Glass Works with his brother in Bremen, Ohio. See less
