This beautiful screen is from the Showa period of Emperor Hirohito's reign from 1926-1989. During this period, Japanese art often combined tradition styles with influences from Western Art movements. Artist identification: Please review photos, right lower corner. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=36 inches, Depth from front to back=1 inch, Length from side to side=69 inches. This marvelous Japanese Showa screen is in excellent condition, free from staining, tears, chips, losses or other imperfections. This screen has been mounted on the wall, so it has two wooden braces that do not allow the screen to fold. I can remove the braces, if you prefer. There is also a hanging wire for display. It is the perfect addition to your decor, particularly if you admire the Japanese style! See less
