This Vintage Egyptian Sultanabad Rug was hand woven using wool on a cotton foundation in the Rile delta region of Northern Egypt. With a size of 10'2" x 13'5", this beautiful rug was made in Fustat, the ancient capital of Egypt located on the Northern end of present day Cairo. Traditional methods were used in its creation, which have remained largely unchanged for centuries. Its soft colors make it a perfect addition to any setting.
