This Vintage Egyptian Sultanabad Rug is hand-woven with wool on a cotton foundation in the Nile delta region of Northern Egypt. Its size measures 11'2" x 13'5" and it originates from Fustat, the ancient capitol of Egypt on the Northern end of present day Cairo. These beautiful rugs have been woven using traditional methods that have been unchanged for centuries, resulting in soft colored masterpieces that will perfectly complement any setting.
