An exceptional Renaissance/Victorian Style oval coffee table or accent table. This one of a kind table has intricate and crisp carving all over the base and edges. The top has beautiful inlay floral design with removable glass cover. Heavy hand wood carving all around. The top has floral and shell motifs as well as a pair of female heads within the carving. Table legs- There are massive carved figures heads accent on each knee (could be gargoyles) scrolling detail ending claw and ball feet. The table is raised on decorated cabriole legs with scroll form stretcher having central finial and stylized scroll from feet. It has a lovely warm tone and would work in many styles of décor. A wonderful addition to your home.
