In this listing you will find a very rare and absolutely spectacular Mid Century Modern dining "Africa" designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxlato, as a part of Artona series. It features a round black wooden top with beautifully inlaid warm brown walnut edges. The table is supported by a square base with a brass rim on the bottom. Inside the base is a concrete block for support with Maxalto logo on it. Made in Italy in 1975. Good vintage condition with two minor damages, as shown in the last two pictures. This piece has an attribution mark,
