Lithograph realized by Ugo Attardi in 1985. Very good condition. Ugo Attardi was born in Sori, near Genoa, in 1923 - 2006 In 1948 in Rome he shared with Carla Accardi, Pietro Consagra, Piero Dorazio, Mino Guerrini, Achille Perilli, Antonio Sanflippo and Giulio Turcato, the experience of Forma Uno, an artistic movement of abstract orientation. In the early 1950s, influenced by the works of Francis Bacon and George Grosz, he changed style, moving away from abstractionism and orienting his research towards greater expressionism. He participated in the XXVI and XXVII editions of the Venice Biennale, starting in the same years the production of engraving, a technique practiced throughout his career. In 1961, together with Ennio Calabria, Fernando Farulli, Alberto Gianquinto, Piero Guccione, Renzo Vespignani and the critics Antonio Del Guercio, Dario Micacchi and Duilio Morosini, he founded Il Pro e il Contro in Rome, a movement born from the need to counter abstraction with figurative painting. The themes of conquest, abuse of power and travel, widely covered in his sculptural work, arise from the artist's reflections during a trip to Spain. In 1971 he won the Viareggio Prize for fiction with the book L’erede selvaggio. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
