We are selling this stunning Chinese Shiwan glazed pottery narcissus bowl or planter. This planter has vibrant green glaze that appears to look like the famous Peacock Feather glaze of the 17th/18th centuries. The thick glaze is applied to a reddish brown clay body and the glaze is very thick and pooled in some parts. Part of the glaze may have failed.
Condition: Lots of small damages to the glaze. Some chips and damages on the rim. Damage on the interior of the bowl with a large loss. Damages to the feet where the glaze pooled. Hairline on the one side of the bowl with some enamel loss..
