This is a large white covered serving dish or soup tureen. It is marked as shown, but the mark is blurry, faded and not readable. I don’t recognize the mark, so I have no idea who the maker is or the age. The porcelain has nice shaping and a very nice raised detail under the handle on the lid. The green and yellow floral design has small raised white dot details on the flowers and leaves.
The base dish measures 9.50 by 7.00 inches at the rim. It is 3.25 inches deep and 11.75 inches from handle to handle. It is 7.00 inches to the top of the handle on the lid.
The lid has a spoon cut out as shown.
There is some dirt shown on the side handles that has since been cleaned. There are also some remnants of gold trim on the handles that are mostly worn off.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage.
