Antique Sterling Silver Tea Strainer, Made in Germany by the Silversmith Company, Theodor Müller.
The tea strainer has 2 hallmarks, intertwined TW & the Silver purity mark 800. In 1886 Germany mandated that the Crescent Moon and German Crown be stamped on all sterling silver. This tea strainer does not have these halllmarks, so it is likely the strainer predates 1886. The company started in 1863 in Weimer Germany.
