Warmth and nostalgia, evoking a sense of peaceful seclusion. Brushwork mimicking the fleeting brilliance of fall in New England, specifically with this painting, Vermont.
This was painted en plain air, as seen in one of the photos.
Painted on a 9" high by 12"wide Ampersand brand cradled panel, framed in thin wood lattice strips, wired and ready to hang.
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish.
