It is constructed from local woods and still boasts original hand forged pull. Called a "tocinera" in Spanish, it was originally used for laying out captured prey after the hunt. The rough cut dovetails of the drawer and mortise and tenon joinery, hand made by the woodworker, are a testament to the quality construction of this table despite its humble origins. See less
