Champagne or sparkling wine cooler (ice bucket) made of copper, manufactured in the 1950s/60s by the Eugen Zint metal smithy in Riedlingen, Germany.
Hand-wrought copper, brass handle with a plastic wrap.
The renowned metal smithy Eugen Zint followed the tradition of Bauhaus aesthetics and continued to develop within it.
The coppersmith's trade was completely replaced by cheap industrial production.
This piece contains a high degree of craftsmanship that will probably never be produced again in this quality.
The champagne cooler is in very good condition, no scratches or dents, only slight signs of use and traces of ageing.
