A fine German porcelain figurine.

Entitled 'Lion Baroque', designed by Josef Wackerle.
In the form of a rampant lion with the Bavarian lesser coat of arms between its claws. Nymphenburg's origin and success in inextricably linked to the support and financial backing of the Bavarian royal family.
Simply a wonderful patriotic figurine by Nymphenburg!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is crazing to the glaze throughout (especially to the plinth and the lion's left side). Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
