This is a rare handmade and hand-painted piggy bank.
It is a lovely rustic pig with beautifully hand-painted flowers and patterns that gild and highlight the shapes. A fun and beautiful element in the home.
It is probably a model for the famous and popular piggy banks of the Guldkroken in Hjo Sweden that began to be produced in the 40s.
Probably so since they have the same design as Guldkroken's pigs that are still popular today and are still made.
