This is a fabulous original mid century modern stool designed by Warren Platner for Knoll International, Inc,, the simple and … Read more This is a fabulous original mid century modern stool designed by Warren Platner for Knoll International, Inc,, the simple and elegant wire rods create a alluring pattern and the original blue fabric is very on point. The original tag is present on the cushion underside but there is not a delivery date.

The fabric is in good vintage condition, there is some fading as compared to the fabric underneath and it could stand a cleaning although there are not any blatant stains. There is a zipper to remove the cushion inside but I am afraid to open it first, because it looks like it has never been opened and I love the originality and second, because the cushion material, although still comfortable to sit on feels like it may have disintegrated with age in some areas and is crunchy there. The metal rods that make up the base have a bronze colored finish and are in good condition as is the plastic rim on the bottom.
