Introduction by Marguerite Yourcenar. Text in Greek and translation in French by Oppian. Excellent condition. Pierre-Yves Trémois (Paris, 1921) Pierre-Yves Trémois is a French designer, painter, engraver, and sculptor, a member of the Academy of Fine Arts. After studying at the École Nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris as a pupil of Fernand Sabatté, Pierre-Yves Trémois won, in 1943, the first Grand Prix de Rome in painting and he has devoted himself to sculpture and the graphic art of etching since 1944.
