Through delicate and non-invasive tears Antonio Longo creates a visual poetry made of details and words.
“The “Torn Manifesto” is an artistic technique that consists of the opposite procedure to the “collage”, instead of adding elements to the work, we start from an artistic object from which parts are detached” explains the artist.
Born in Turin in 1960 but from Cuneo by adoption, Longo has been creating décollages on wood and canvas for twenty years. His works have been exhibited in successful exhibitions both in Italy (Cuneo, Turin, Milan, Viareggio, Perugia, Verona, Lecce) and abroad (Moscow, Istanbul, Kiev, Prague, Sochi, Berlin, Cannes, Warsaw, Monk).

Raffaello Sanzio (Urbino, 28 March or 6 April 1483 – Rome, 6 April 1520) was an Italian painter and architect, among the most famous of the Renaissance. Like Leonardo, Raphael is also defined as "divine" by Vasari. If Michelangelo was a sculptor by vocation, Raphael is a painter par excellence: he paints with such naturalness that the work does not show the sign of effort but that of spontaneity.
