San Francisco themed original oil painting on canvas by Russ Wagner, well known for his series of San Fransico scenes. Wagner has had many exhibits showcasing his love for the area depicting Cityscapes, Landscape and Street Scenes. He is inspired by movement, strong color and interaction of his surroundings. His is influenced by past great impressionist like Monet and is mostly styled in the likes of, Realist Painter, Edward Hopper.
There is a full spectrum of colors to give the illusion that dusk is approaching on this San Franciscan street. The play of pinks, terracotta and warm colors reflecting on buildings toward the top and at the bottom of the street the blues and colder colors give the appearance of cast shadows cast from the sunset. Truly an amazing painting! This large 30' x 40" original is one of a kind, has 1.5” canvas wrapped frame ready for hanging.
