Beautiful and unique magazine table by iconic furniture maker Imperial from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Marked on the bottom along with the Mahogany marking. Has been stripped and finished.
Based on the particular Imperial logo on this piece, it was manufactured in 1939. While this table is likely classified as more traditional, it has a mid-century flair that was just beginning in that era.
Table is in great shape and this is the only table I can locate of this exact design that still has the mark intact. Note that some of the more red mahogany highlights do show through the finish in certain locations.
