The wood used to create this bench is reclaimed, sourced from old pillars of traditional Java Houses, from the island of Java, Indonesia. It features a mix of wood finishings. The seat features natural finish where the wood was sanded and finished with a clear coat. The two cylindrical legs were burnt numerous times and finished with a clear coat to achieve their black pigment. The bench has stunning wood contours and shades that add to its charm.
