This stunning silkscreen painting by Torii Kiyonaga features a beautiful girl with a birdcage. The artist's signature is prominently displayed on the piece, adding to its value and authenticity. The painting measures 22.25 inches in height and 18.5 inches in width, making it a medium-sized piece that will fit well in any collection.
Kionaga worked from 1752-1815. This signed silkscreen would have been a later reproduction of his work. Based on the framing, I estimate sometime between the 40s and the 60s. Both the painting and the frame are in good condition. The painting itself measures by 30 13 x 16 1/2.
