Schiaparelli, one of the most famous fashion designers, along with Coco Chanel, was prominent between the two World Wars. She teamed with Marcel Vertes who created the whimsical, modern illustrated ads complementing Schiaparelli’s avant-garde style and irreverent attitude. Vertes collaborated with Schiaparelli and illustrated publicity ads for her perfume capturing her spirit and style. He called this advertisement print "Lovers". It is a prime example of French style, flair, and pizzazz in advertising art. Originally published in a French periodical. This is NOT a recent reproduction print.
