Fabulous Empire trumeau mirror with Greco-Roman deity occupying the central frame. Bathed in gold gilt, she is carved with great reverence for beauty and projects off the frame in ¾ view. The narrow wooden panel is painted cream with casual distressing of the pigment revealing the wood grain below. Spots of foxing in the mirror plate. Please view the detailed images to see more.
