This is a very special set of framed Gibson Lithographs because they were acquired from the famous "Breakers Hotel" in Palm Beach Florida.
The framed art hung up on the walls of the South corridor hallways for way over a decade.

The lithographs depict all different scenes from "These Foreign Relations", "A New Addition", "The Troubles of the Rich", "The Cure" and many more.
They have been professionally customed framed for the hotel in gold gilt frames with black accents. The mattes I believe at one time were all the same extremely pale light green color however, I believe a few may have faded through time and now appear as an off white cream color. The fronts have plexiglass, not real glass.
In my opinion they would be even more striking with all black mattes. They are a wonderful size and the set of 8 will take up a very large space on a wall so they are worth the investment in changing out the mattes.
No one will have this special set from an extremely extravagant world known hotel. See less
