This black version of the Lampione, features a sleek stem made from Baydur polyurethane foam, a durable, weather-resistant material ideal for the outdoors. Its acrylic lampshade contrasts with the soft, natural form of the base, reflecting the bold use of colours and playful materials typical for the Pop Art era.

Lenci’s expertise in foam technology and his avant-garde experimentation make this lamp a standout example of 1960s post-war design, blending industrial and organic elements.

Note that the foot switch is a design classic on its own by Achille Castiglioni.
