Consisting of 3 individual pieces -- 2 single armed units (arm-right & arm-left) and a matching armless chair, this set can be configured either as a 3-seat sofa or a 2-seat loveseat + a side chair, depending on space considerations or party needs. It is fabricated of natural, ebonized bamboo with decorative tan lashings and brass arm end caps. Six inch cushions, covered in a creamy, brushed buck suede type fabric with cording and zippers, are in great shape with only minor wear.

We have researched extensively and have yet to identify the maker. It is a near match to John Wisner's 1950s design for Ficks Reed but the profile and lashings are slightly different. The arched back detail is similar, but not a match, to a vintage Calif-Asia sofa we have previously sold.

What we do know for certain is that it is a wonderful vintage piece with a sturdy frame, handsome detailing, and extremely comfortable, high-quality, 6" cushions. No blast of wind could possibly cause these cushions to fly across the patio. It was sold to us by another dealer as 1950s - 1960s era and we absolutely agree with that dating. This is a top-of-the-line vintage sectional with the aesthetics of a legendary John Wisner design at a fraction of the cost. Don't miss out on this gem!

Dimensions: Overall (as 3-seater): 69"W x 36"D x 29.5"H (frame back); each arm unit: 23.5" x 36"D x 29.5"H; armless unit: 22"W x 36"D x 29.5":H. Seat height with cushions, 16.5"H; seat width, 65"W; seat depth, 20"D.

Very good vintage condition; structurally sound, excellent cushions, frame has some finish wear that will be improved with polishing; lashing loss on rear, outside of one arm unit; cosmetic, not structural and not highly visible when in use.
