Rare find! Architectural salvage, classical door knocker.
Large, antique lion's head cast solid brass door knocker with strike.
Stunning lion's head, door knocker features a swinging bar handle held in the lion's mouth and a round brass ball strike. Bar handle is a carved neoclassical swag.
Piece is substantial, weighs 8lbs, heavy brass with exceptional detail and original patina. An impressive piece of hardware.
Ball Strike is 1" round.
