Vase in Bianco Michelangelo and Nero Marquinia marbles.
Commercial name: Pietro, Homage Collection by the Italian designer Matteo Cibic. Made in Italy, hand-finished.
“A painter’s drawings are like the personal diary of a scholar”, wrote Lamberto Vitali in reference to Amedeo Modigliani’s sketches, which appear to have been recreated in Pietro: through the elongated form, the descriptive approach, the treatment. A vase that transcends its purpose, celebrating art-making like a subconscious gesture, a collective memory, the inheritance matter.
