Striking set of six dining armchairs by Minton-Spidell, blending neoclassical elegance with bold Hollywood Regency flair. Each chair features a sculptural geometric frame with an oval medallion back, finished in a richly distressed dark craquelure lacquer that gives the set an intentionally aged, collected aesthetic.
The chairs are upholstered in a vibrant burnt orange velvet-like fabric with a subtle ostrich-inspired texture, beautifully contrasted by decorative nailhead trim surrounding both the backrests and seat aprons. Gracefully curved arms and tapered legs further enhance the refined silhouette, while the dramatic color palette adds warmth and sophistication to both traditional and eclectic interiors.
These chairs make an exceptional statement around a dining table, in a designer breakfast room, or as accent seating in a luxe entertaining space.

The intentionally distressed craquelure finish shows scattered scuffs, edge wear, and rubbing throughout the frames, particularly along the arms and high points, contributing to the chairs’ vintage character and patina. Upholstery remains attractive overall with minor wear from age and use. Structurally sound and ready for immediate use. Our inventory predominantly features rare to very rare vintage pieces, each with its own unique charm and imperfections reflective of its history.
