Rare and important scroll vase by denise picard, made in the 1940s.
cousin of paul pouchol, french ceramist, sculptor and painter, having had as students:
pol chambost, georges jouve, marianne clouzot, and his cousin.
the title of this piece is "original sin", high quality of execution, to be compared to the work of jouve.
denyse picard is permanently exhibited at the musée des arts décoratifs in paris.
the work of this artist is weak and uncommon
in perfect original condition, no restoration or accident.
