A striking mid century figurative oil painting of a seated nude woman posing in a long lavish red robe by Northern California artist Genevieve Rogers (American, 20th Century). Unsigned, but acquired with a collection of her work. Unframed. Image, 20"H x 16"L.
Genevieve Rogers was born in 1904 in New York. She resided in Pacific Grove, California where she was active as an artist, painting mostly landscapes and figurative works, until her death in 1984.
