A very well-preserved antique shoemaker's Neverax Rack crafted by the notable firm of United Shoe Manufacturing Company. USMC, established in 1899, grew to be the dominant international supplier of the machinery and factory accessories necessary to produce footwear. This sturdy multi-purpose wood and steel rack features ample shelving, two removable dividers, and sits on cast iron double-wheel swivel casters. Presenting a beautiful patina and original finishes, this piece has been thoroughly refreshed using compressed air, plant-based cleaners, carnauba and beeswax. Factory markings enhance the historical character and include the Art Nouveau inspired "USMC" logo.
Interior shelf space measures 28.5" length x 12.5" width x 10" interior height.
The removable wooden dividers, when in place, add 8” to the 54” top height of the rack.
