Superb vintage and rare to find large Namji loom ,Namji is the people inhabiting an area in the West of the north Cameroon, famous for their wooden dolls carved with geometric features and adorned with multi-colored bead necklace
.The loom consist of two dolls on the top and a comb of ribbed teeth mounted between two pieces of wood, the lower one of which serves as ballast.
each thread is guided through these ribs and the weaver uses it to pack the threads after the shuttle has passed. 41" H by 18" w by 3" D
