Blue background and soft blue and ivory accent colors on a flower design with a rust gold border. The rug is 100 percent handmade Tabriz is an important weaving center in North West Persia and has been since the 16th century. This city has become one of the leading producers of carpets in the east. In the 19th century, most of these works of art ended up in the American markets and being of excellent quality many of these samples still exist. See less
