Intertwined copper wires create a simplistic shape with intriguing visually texture. Koenigsberg says the grid featured in much of her work reflects the city streets she knows so well and is a "part of her DNA.” From a private collection. Dimensions: 8"h x 8" w and 8"d. Nancy Koenigsberg (1927- ) is an American sculptor and painter known for her knitted wire textiles and mixed media sculptures. In 2022, she was named a fellow of the American Craft Council. Koenigsberg has an extensive exhibition history in the United States, Europe, and South America and has completed numerous commissions.
