At first glance, you might think this is a Joe Colombo design, looking not unlike his more common Elda armchair. But this is a more obscure design, although one that was seen in futuristic TV shows and movies in the 1970s. The rarely-seen Star Maidens is cited in the listing.
It still has the space age look the TV and movie people were attracted by back in the day, but its appeal now is more likely to be for anyone looking to recreate the late '60s or 1970s in the modern era.
