Although crafted during the mid-century modern period, the pieces display subtle references to the neoclassical style, creating a fascinating blend of aesthetics. The minimalist yet refined form reflects a delicate neoclassical influence, reminiscent of designs by Gio Ponti and Paolo Buffa. Ponti often merged classical proportions and harmony with modern materials and shapes, as seen in the well-balanced proportions and the decorative buttons of these chairs.
