Antique Aesthetic Movement A.F. Foley Staffordshire Pottery Transferware Covered Vegetable Dish Server
This was made during the Victorian Aesthetic Movement circa 1880's in Stoke on Trent, England. Beautiful transferware ironstone covered vegetable server with designs in a rusty brown on an antique white background. Features a roundly sculputered shape with the base having a pedestal. The lid has a beautiful circle shaped handle and there are handles at the ends of the dish. A lovely addition to your set or for serving special dishes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks, very clean, the usual occasional speckle that is found in Foley glaze. Dish measures approx. 13 x 7 x 6 inches.
