The original hand-painted finish is in excellent condition with tones of red, green and brown. Please enlarge photos to appreciate the painted green panel doors, and drawers with carved diamond accents.
Interior left door has date of 1771 and right door 1818.
Two cabinet doors over four drawers; interior holds two standard shelves, one middle 1/2 shelf and upper shelf with traditional spoon rack.
A skeleton key is included to use as pull (lock no longer functions).
Restored, this cupboard is strong/stable. All cracks, stains, scratches or separations in panels are all commensurate with age and do not impact the function while simply adding to the aged beauty which reflects many generations of use.
