It originally appeared in a French magazine that dates to 1980. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It is illustrated and signed by Rene Gruau with his iconic "g" marking. The creative friendship between Christian Dior and the illustrator Rene Gruau was a collaboration which celebrated a special spirit which continued for many years, even after Dior’s death in 1957. Gruau’s breathtaking use of bold color and strong graphic lines enhances the allure of Dior’s fragrance.
