Phenomenal Scandinavian four drawer bureau by Edmond Spence in excellent refinished condition, made in Sweden c. 1950s. This piece was refinished without stain to showcase the maple’s natural radiant color.
The case sits atop sculpted legs. The dovetailed drawers feature concealed pulls, enhancing the minimalist aesthetic. The drawer faces are and edges of the frame are beveled, allowing them to dock seamlessly – from afar it resembles a wooden sculpture as much as it does a chest of drawers.
